About Bargaining

one must be able to bargain appropriately when visiting developing countries. But wait! Have no fear! Because this is precisely where i come in. bargaining is like accepting change for the bill you just paid the cashier. Don't be thrown off guard by the rudeness of the ordeal! Here are some tips for a worthwhile bargain: don't automatically offer half the stated value just to work your way up from there. Price tags are often as much as 10 times as high as actual product value! Think before you give your initial price! Take your time. If you can't spare the time to determine the relevant, post-bargain price is it really that important to purchase? It is grave to be willing to walk away at moment's notice (or at least to appear to be be willing to walk away at moment's notice)
